What the visit involves
The unit is read before it is opened: cabinet and evaporator temperatures logged, the defrost circuit forced and timed, condenser and fans checked, door seals tested against the cabinet. Where the readings point at the sealed system it goes under gauges — that is EPA 608 work and it is not guessed at.
You get the measurements and a firm parts-and-labour number before anything is dismantled. Integrated and panel-ready Sub-Zero units are pulled on protection and reset on their original shims, so the door line matches the cabinet run when we leave.
